Reforming Social Security

I'm sure that no one who reads this blog could think that I am by any means a fan of Dubya, but doing something about Social Security, now, sooner than later, is a good thing. No, I don't like the vagueness of his proposals, and I think there are better ways to go about it, but I can't stand all the opposition who doesn't want to touch that 3rd Rail.

Social Security is generational warfare. It's a Ponzi scheme, and like all Ponzi schemes, it's going to run out.

There needs to be some safety net. But enough robbing from the young to give to the old.
